YOUR OPPORTUNITYIntercompany Lead position is a highly competitive role structured to strengthen / develop a well-rounded accounting and finance skillset, which will be the foundation for advancing your career at Bacardi.

Reporting to Intercompany Supervisor, this Team Lead will support finance organization and operations team thru the direction of a team of approximately 7 Primos, in charge of reconciliation of Bacardi transactions among entities, ensure a smooth consolidation, variances analysis, period end closing, among other processes.

  • ABOUT YOUThis role requires interactions across many functions (Finance & Non-Finance), including acting as a resource to the international markets;
  • as such, this role will regularly interact with a multitude of organizational levels, typically from employees to directors.

    Additionally, Intercompany Team Lead, will deal with confidential and sensitive data and must assure conformity with policies, procedures, and regulations of Bacardi and external governments and agencies.



  • Lead a group of 7 people by providing them support / mastery on Intercompany matters and reviewing the performance of the team and progress on their development plans.
  • Perform tasks related to Intercompany team within the Bacardi Enterprise Services, which serves over 84 business units and corporate headquarters operations.
  • Consistently meet or exceed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Lead most demanding processes of the team, such as BBSR, FYE coordination, audits, projects and initiatives, new entity implementations, among others.
  • Develop a mindset of continuous improvement by constantly striving for ways to leverage process efficiencies on a global basis.
  • Identify and execute on potential process improvements ensuring Intercompany accounting procedures conform to GAAP and Bacardi financial policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal Bacardi clients as necessary to ensure that work is properly delivered.
  • Build capability / technical mastery within the team via ongoing training programs and continuously identify, propose and execute process improvements.
  • Develop the organization ensuring open communication with the team, via meaning full lets talks, department meetings and touchpoints.

  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage his / her time efficiently, sense of urgency.
  • Specific previous experience in Intercompany matters.
  • Experience managing teams in a shared service environment.
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to others and delegate effectively.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to capture information in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audiences.
  • Works well in a team environment and is a self-starter that continuously is thinking on how things can be done better requiring minimal direction and support.
  • Previous and strong experience in accounting, using SAP platform.
  • Possess technical mastery in topics like intercompany processes, accounts reconciliation and variances accounting.
  • Must be fluent in English (90%)
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, being able to communicate with high levels of the organization and negotiate process changes.

  • The following experiences are preferred :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, advanced degree preferred.
