Job Description

The primary responsibility is to manage the assigned customer base,to increase sales in the local marketplace, application guidance and technicalassistance to assigned customers and / or distributors and obtaining orders thatare profitable to Eaton.

Essential functions include : develop and execute sales plans to meetperformance expectations and requirements, achieving assigned sales quota,develop, grow, and maintain relationships with Eaton employees, specifiers,customers and distributors.

Maintain cooperative and credible workingrelationship with otherpany personnel to assure customer satisfaction.Provide technical assistance to customers, distributors and / or end users asneeded.

Plan promotional activities and presentations with end users to elevateproducts and solutions overpetitors.

Sell assigned product (lines) to targeted customers with theobjective of optimizing sales volume, product mix, and profit margin.

Collect,analyze and utilize market intelligence data onpetitive products, customerneeds, preferences and buying habits.


Bachelor’sDegree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fieldfrom an accredited institution required.

Minimumof 5 years on electronic / electrical or IT industry sales experience in a largecompany required.

Musthave good verbal and writtenmunication skills in English-Spanish required(90%).

    Desired experience working withdirectly end customers and / or distributors in the mission critical, informationtechnology, power quality and electrical market.

    Experience utilizing ValueAdded Selling techniques.

    Proficiencyinputer skills Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Accessand Project Management)

    Collect,analyze and utilize market intelligence data onpetitive products, customerneeds, preferences and buying habits.


    Desired experience in UPSmarket, Data Center / Power Quality and Power Distribution.

    Knowledge / Experience of Eaton Power Quality products and theirapplications.
