Job Role and Responsibility :

We are searching for a Senior Strategic Program Manager with experience in managing Sales related programs focused on Value Modeling tools and overall material automation with Value Selling.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams on developing and managing these programs while also ensuring field awareness and adoption through coordination of activities and communications.

As a Senior Program Manager, your role will be impactful, visible, and rewarding.

Areas of Focus :

  • Primary Program - Value Modeling Tools Program Management
  • Coordination of all resources and budget for associated programs
  • Manage requirements documentation, timelines, shared materials, and meeting cadences for programs
  • Collaborate across business units for integration and overall alignment of program objectives
  • Maintain Field Advisory Board from VMware field, partners and select customers to solicit feedback
  • Leverage Field Marketing to align program objectives with awareness campaigns
  • Create and maintain a system of record for measuring success of program objectives
  • Enablement needs, progress, and status
  • Develop and execute robust communications plan
  • Specific responsibilities include :

  • Design, deploy, and / or manage multiple sales programs within Enterprise on a worldwide basis. This may include leading key projects within a program.
  • Prioritize and ensure completion of all specific deliverables and tactical initiatives required to support assigned programs.
  • Identify, call out and ensure resolution of issues impacting successful execution of programs.

  • Conduct data analyses to track program success, and provide insight to inform decisions for program optimization
  • Work closely with internal partners and sales reps to continuously evaluate program strength, opportunities for improvement, Sales adoption, etc.
  • Responsible for documentation, communication, enablement, and governance of any applicable processes and / or assets within Programs.
  • Required Skills :

  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to understand Account / Territory Planning, customer engagement and sales methodologies / process at both a company and individual sales rep level.
  • Relationship building and change management skills to ensure optimal adoption of our programs and processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, able to effectively perform multiple / concurrent tasks within deadlines.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in a matrix organization where building collaboration and influence generate results.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Sales Operations role with program management, preferably at technology companies with a sales team of + people;
  • or experience in similar growth or operations roles in a dynamic environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience as a scrum master handling Agile projects and user acceptance testing (UAT) is a major plus!
