Own & actively maintain a process for enterpriseautomation, scheduling, & administration in Oracle Applications eBusinessSuite, Automic / UC4, and other critical business environments
Ensure all critical enterprise jobs, concurrent requests,& application processes adhere to time lines, schedules, system impactlimits, and expectations in an efficient manner
Negotiate and enforce the timely schedule frequency &operation of critical jobs, requests, & processes
Interact with customers & process owners to ensure theyreceive an exceptional level of service
Consistently monitor operational patterns & make timelyadjustments for production demands and performance levels of critical jobs,requests, processes, & activities
Drive discussions with process owners & IT leads to givefocus to the short-term scheduling outlook
Lead efforts with and seek continuous improvement on job& process schedules to smooth & / or stabilize system load spikesthroughout entire spectrum of time
Automate weekly & monthly reports for past, present,& future jobs & processes
Continually improve on & / or consolidate solutions toview critical jobs, requests, processes, & planned maintenance activitiesso that others may quickly view and plan their activities accordingly
Perform system administration, enterprise job automation,& enterprise monitoring related activities
Actively participate in & respond to actions resultingfrom Oracle Operations committee sessions in an effort to gather, present,& seek improvement on ideas, live scenarios, & operational procedures
Participate in critical evening, weekend, and holidayactivity as required especially period & year end
Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills(both oral and written)
Able to assess requirements, communicate fluently, andinfluence others (in areas relating to enterprise automation, administration,monitoring, & support) while moving towards a common vision or goal
Minimum 1 year of experience in Oracle 11i Applications EBS(technical & functional)
Minimum 1 year of experience with SQL & 6 months withOracle PL / SQL
Minimum 6 months of experience in process scheduling, systemautomation, or system administration
Knowledge of Oracle 10g or 11g architecture
Experience in most phases of Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) in Oracle technologies
Experience with any enterprise scheduling or automationapplication (such as Automic / UC4) is a plus
BS with a technical background (MIS, Computer Science,Engineering)
Must be able to work a shift ending as late as 7pm localtime if required
Occasional period-end or year-end shift rotations may benecessary for operational coverage
