Amazon's Advertising Design Scaled Services team is seeking a talented, customer-obsessed Sr. Visual Designer to conceptualize and create brand-focused, digital storefronts on Amazon (Stores).
As a Visual Designer on the Stores team, you are passionate about designing for a positive UX and delivering world-class graphic solutions.
You're driven to design brand experiences that connect with customers and take delight in building a brand’s presence, sometimes from scratch.
You are both imaginative and pragmatic. You have an inventor’s spirit, a beautifully-tuned eye, a demonstrated proficiency in brand design and experience moving projects from concept into successful execution.
You will work closely with account management, product, sales and marketing teams to create and bring ideas to life that help drive new business and build Amazon shopping baskets.
You have demonstrated success by translating business goals into inspiring creative direction. You’ve proven you start with the customer and work backward, understanding that what you do is critical to creating a successful, consistent shopping experience.
As a candidate, you will have a comprehensive understanding of graphic design processes and software, along with expertise in digital marketing.
Prior experience in an agency or media environment creating advertisements for global brands is required, as is a passion for the visual customer experience.
Additionally, you should have a keen eye for detail, a self-starter attitude and an excellent ability to communicate.
An online portfolio and previous design experience are required.

Responsibilities :
Collaborate with account managers, peers and leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand graphic solutions that foster a superior vendor and customer experience
Innovate and raise the creative design bar for Stores
Lead by example with efficiency and quality of design
Produce graphics, templates, layouts, vendor proofs and visual standards for customer-facing physical assets
Proactively manage time and deadlines
Work closely with fellow local and international designers to ensure high standards of graphic design, brand consistency and customer experience
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or a higher degree in Visual Communications / Graphic Design or commensurate design experience (1 year of professional experience per year of schooling)
5+ years of Agency environment experience producing design, or equivalent demonstrated experience
A remarkable portfolio that demonstrates excellence in composition as the level desired for the application (please include a link in your resume)
Strong time management skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity, self-prioritize, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Mastery of the principles of design, color theory, typography and graphics file creation optimized for digital media
Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising or shopping solutions
Ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external stakeholders in a professional manner, maintaining effective written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional computer skills using Mac publishing platforms, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), other graphic programs and Microsoft Office
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of web architecture, usability, UX and UI Design beneficial
Expert understanding of graphics creation and manipulation optimized for palette, size and speed of download
Experience creating a design style guide
Demonstrated business acumen and customer-centricity
