MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
The primary function of this position is to perform daily duties of the microbiology laboratory and all tests and processes required to monitor the production area environment.
The individual will be responsible for carrying out all assigned tasks, which could include laboratory experiments and testing of raw material and processes as per routine documented procedures and to perform the tasks for maintenance of the microbiology laboratory.

Perform Test Procedures and Environmental Monitoring
Perform the predetermined sampling and testing schedule to ensure that the controlled environment rooms and water systems meet the environmental, validation and Calibration specification requirements
Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, biotechnology, or a related field.
Or is currently studying one of these fields and is at least 50% completed with the degree.
Microbiology, biology, biology, biotechnology, or a related field preferred
2 year’s experience in a Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or related Laboratory field are required.
Proficiency in computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
Must have knowledge of laboratory equipment such as pH meter, analytical balance, incubator, autoclave.
Intermediate command of English (written and verbal) is preferred
Medical device experience and knowledge of Environmental Monitoring, Bioburden, Bacterial endotoxin tests, are preferred.
