Assist the Regional Compliance Manager to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in all LAM entities as well as adherence to company’s policies and procedures.
Support the Latin America organization in achieving its financial, operational and strategic goals while maintaining compliance with Emerson’s policies and procedures with the highest ethics standards.
Develop, organize, and deliver compliance training and communication related to the company’s internal control and policies.
Support internal and external audits visits, including sample compilation, coordination meeting with functional areas and auditors, support on audit finding remediations, and follow up on the closing of pending findings before closing of fiscal year.
Support and maintenance the Compliance SharePoint for internal controls.
Develop and executed internal controls self-assessments designed to identify and tackle compliance related risk.
Provide strategic recommendations regarding controls implementation, operational issues, policies understanding, process gaps, improvement initiatives, etc.
Design and build new systems or solutions that use analytics (Metrics) to identify, quantify, and communicate compliance performance, effectiveness and risk
High exposure / interaction with management demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills and requires a high degree of integrity.
