Responsible for the end to end cross-functional
project management of CI and IT initiatives to support MSD's global business
Collaborate closely with other
organizational groups to partner with the relevant business areas to
effectively coordinate execution of strategic projects.
Lead the planning and reporting activities
for these strategic activities and become the trusted adviser of the business
Global Process Owners and Business Service Center leadership.
Ensure MSD technology standards compliance
and pursue integration and leveraging of platform opportunities.
Facilitate monthly project(s) review
meetings to ensure open communication between project teams, sponsors,
Financial and IT Leadership is achieved.
Support monthly financial reviews with CI
CoE, GPO and BSC Leaders.
Review project execution readiness to
ensure compliance with governance models are in place to support decision
making and issue escalation.
Review financial forecasts monthly to
ensure the project(s) spend is in line with allocations.
Proactively review project(s) for threats
and opportunities and manage known risks
Summarize project statuses for monthly GBS
Program Management status meetings.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering,
bioscience, finance, or related field.
Project Management Professional
and Skills Required :
Strong proficiency in Project Management
leading global projects, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience leading CI and
IT projects (>
$500K) from inception to close-out.
Strong Change Management, Communication
written, oral, presentation), negotiation, influencing and relationship
Proven ability to work in a fluid
environment and comfortable in dealing with ambiguous situations.
High competency in the use of project
management and analytical software tools. Knowledge of MS Project Server and
SharePoint project portfolio management processes and reporting tools.
Strong understanding of Lean Methodology,
Tools, Techniques and Accelerators.
Ability to make a positive contribution as
demonstrated by learning new skills and making suggestions for process /
Demonstrated ability to analyze, define,
and solve business problems as well as developing business cases and advising

Experience and Skills :
Experience working in regulated
environments (Pharmaceutical, Aviation industry),
