ECI is looking for a Sales Engineer to join and support our sales efforts in CALA. This leader is primarily responsible for the development of ECI’s technical solutions for the Service Providers, Utilities, and Data Center verticals that will help in increasing order intake / revenue as well as gain market share.
This is a key technical leadership position in the pre-sales organization of an inspiring company, and in one very exciting territory;
and by executing it well we will establish and execute a thought leadership agenda for ECI in this region.
In coordination with Sales Manager (SM), defines and executes product strategy to a given region / customer(s)
Builds robust and durable relationships with customers’ planning and engineering personnel, which in turns provide technical insight into customers network and its evolution strategy
Good presentation skills to demonstrate the products’ benefits to the customers
Designs solutions in the strategic and tactical levels creating BOMs as well as winning architectures
Helps identifying opportunities, qualifies opportunities, supports proposal synthesis process
Aligned with SM performs as SM complementing coverage
5-10 years of progressive experience designing, positioning, and selling complex networks
Proven background in leading the vision and implementation of network solutions in the SP, Data Center and / or Utilities verticals
Key industry and customer (CxO) relationships
IP / MPLS, MPLS-TP, OTN, DWDM knowledge
Security, SDN and NFV understanding and experience
Must have a strong understanding of competitive technologies and solutions
Fluent in English
