HR Assistant

The Amazon HR team is seeking a Human Resources Assistant based in Lagunilla, Costa Rica to perform a variety of HR duties, such as, coordinating and communicating HR processes and navigating HR policies, training coordination, providing employee relations guidance, generating reporting and data analysis, support engagement initiatives and overall support of CSHR team.

The Human Resources Assistant will be an integral part of the HR Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, self-

This will be some of your day to day tasks :

  • Assist internal customers in regards to employee relations, policies, HR procedures and benefits inquiries.
  • Generate the HR department Reporting, and analysis of Data.
  • Conduct administration portion of HR Processes.
  • Support HRBPs with logistics and operative tasks.
  • Liaison with Operations and HRBPs for Employee Engagement activities
  • The successful candidate will :

  • Demonstrate the ability to drive results in an ambiguous environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Have demonstrated experience providing outstanding customer support.
  • Have the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, quickly changing, and highly ambiguous environment.
  • Conduct every day activities with a strong sense of integrity
  • 2+ years' experience as an office administrator, or customer service advisor
  • Proven relevant experience on employee relations, leadership coaching, talent development, change management, compensation & benefits, and employee engagement.
  • Technical or Bachelor’s degree on a related field
  • Professional English proficiency
  • Intermediate level experience with Word and Excel, including but not limited to charts, pivots and filters
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding compensation, benefits and employee issues.
  • Master’s degree on a related field
  • Human Resources / Coaching Certifications
  • Labor law knowledge
  • Experience with PeopleSoft
