Description Process Specialist - Procurement San Jose. Costa Rica

In the role of Process Specialist in a Procurement service line (voice and data), you will be required to follow all predefined procedures with the objective to meet service level agreement targets and to ensure that the performance parameters are met and exceeded within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.

You will also be responsible for effectively executing calls to client’s customers / vendors, resolving queries as per deliverables outlined, maintaining voice quality as per standard agreed, handling repetitive calls and striving for target maximization.

In this role you will be responsible for Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance, Process compliance, customer / vendor interactions, knowledge management and process reengineering in order to meet the client goals.

Location for this position is San Jose. Costa Rica

Basic

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred
  • 2 years’ experience related to the Job Description
  • Preferred

  • At least 2 years’ experience in procurement role as buyer
  • Portuguese language, focused in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking
  • Understanding of buying channels Spot Buy, Catalogues, P-Card etc.
  • Experience in Spot Buy and Spot Negotiation and have performed Fair Value Analysis
  • Experience in Supplier Selection through RFI, RFQ
  • Strong Communication Skills and Interpersonal skills
  • Good Negotiation Skills
  • Experience in buying MRO items
  • Experience in Cataloguing and identifying catalogue opportunities
  • Experience working with Brazil taxes and demonstrate good understanding of it
  • Experience working with other LATAM countries
  • The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
