Key Responsibilities :
Primary Skills : Salesforce.com / Salesforce Testing / Salesforce Service, Sales, Marketing and Community Cloud.
Apply business and functional knowledge to meet the teams overall test objectives.
Review functional design document to provide meaningful and timely inputs.
Study technical documents and use them as an input for creating testing strategies / plans.
Create test cases, also perform test case execution for feature under test using Test Management Tool.
Create both positive and negative Test Scenarios.
Needed to work on the application and gain the understanding of its functionality to create functional map.
Should have an easy communication channel with the development team.
Should understand the customizable features which can be built for the Salesforce app.
Needs to execute role-based test cases to ensure the consistency of data.
Should also perform compatibility test in case Salesforce integrated with third-party applications.
Report defects for issues found under testing and manage the defect through its life cycle.
Create relevant test execution reports and bug reports and use them to convey current state of feature under test.
Collaboratively work with the design and development team members to resolve identified issues / bugs in timely manner.
Do regression, exploratory testing along with planned and documented testing for new features
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Automate testing of required features using UFT and or relevant tools.
Should be able to execute Smoke & Sanity Testing Suite to make sure all the major functionalities are functioning as per requirement.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or another related discipline.
3 years of experience in Quality Assurance for CRM software in a mid-large sized organization
Expertise on QA methodologies, process, and tools (Test Case Management, Defect Management or Task Management)
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Advanced English level
Preferred Qualifications (plus)
Experience w / Salesforce configuration testing.
Salesforce Functional knowledge, and working experience on Sales cloud, Service cloud, Marketing cloud and community cloud with in-depth expertise in one or more areas.
Previous Experience in handling SaaS based application testing and periodic SaaS Application upgrade testing is desirable.
Preferred Salesforce certifications - Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer.
High commitment to quality & QC processes.
Ability to meet deadlines, and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
Ability to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and translate vague user requests into specific business and technical requirements
Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on the platform and all related applications, systems, and processes.
