The AtRSupervisor will be responsible for managing the Accounting to Reporting (AtR) delivery team and validate all activities related to the AtR process including Cash & Bank accounting, Payroll Accounting, Intercompany, Sales accounting, Cash and Investments accounting, Fixed Assets accounting, Month end closing operations and period end adjustments, Journals / Accruals / Expenses, Audit, legal requirements and SoX documentation, Balance sheet reconciliation and open items follow up, Data management.
Provide the proper follow up and analysis for all the markets assigned ensuring all entries into the customer ERP system are complete and accurate according to process and defined metrics (such as TaT & Accuracy).
The objective of this role is to maintain a high standard of performance, analysis and follow up of all activities on the market(s) assigned ensuring all entries into the ERP system are completed and accurate.
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following :
Management of the AtR delivery team ensuring accuracy & quality of deliverables regarding all AtR processes across all America’s markets.
Leverage your team s knowledge and skills to ensure appropriate performance.
Prepare schedules for reporting figures at month end prior to CFO review and submission.
Manage month end closing, accounting balances & reconciliations and reporting according timelines agreed.
Manage closure of AP, FA, AR Ledgers.
Ensure compliance of accounting standards & reporting.
Controllership / Internal controls knowledge SOX based.
On a daily basis responsible for sharing executive summaries to major stakeholders.
Keep a close relationship with major stakeholders in each market to ensure complying with all activities according Monthly calendars.
Manage operations related issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with internal control AtR procedures.
Create competitive environment to foster innovative ways of process improvements & enable others to perform at the best of their capabilities
Understand the functionality, interfaces, and interdependencies of MSD’s financial processes and systems; ensure the existence of adequate internal controls
Complete Balance Sheet Account reconciliations and follow-up of open items
Populate all manual trackers related to AtR processing
Prepare documentation and reports for audit purpose
Be accountable for the accuracy and support documentation of every manual journal entry
Achieve required accuracy on all defined KPIs and SLA’s
Work closely with other team members and leaders to effectively manage workload and gain exposure to multiple finance and business disciplines within MSD
Update pre-closing report, perform first analysis of numbers and coordinate meetings with markets and identify additional actions whenever necessary for final close submission of numbers to corporate
Review and sign off of the final financial package and the Balance Sheet Reconciliations
