Job Description

We're searching for an ADA Specialist to work with our Global Employees Services (GES) group. HR Global Services (HRGS) focuses on employee essential services, employee experiences, quality, and end-to-end optimization solutions.

Within HRGS is Global Employees Services (GES) and the ADA team, we provide exception experiences, use innovative solutions, and are the voice of the employee.

GES leverages shared services and vendors for operational delivery, customer contact and subject matter experts for escalation support.

This role will have a primary focus as an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Specialist.

In this role you will help Intel with the following, but not limited to :

Leads, facilitates and guides the interactive, reasonable accommodation process with managers and employees for leave, return to work and non-leave related accommodation requests.

Engages with external candidates, where appropriate, during the application and hiring process to address ADA related questions and implementing reasonable ADA accommodations.

Leads the end to end process of finding workplace accommodations working with external and internal stakeholders prioritizing risk mitigation and a positive customer experience.

Identifies, researches and collaborates on reasonable accommodations, and implementing those accommodations and re-evaluating as necessary.

Partner with other stakeholders across HR and the business to facilitate best known ADA practices and performance management of individuals with disabilities.

Ensures that data related to requests for and provision of accommodations are tracked in accordance with OFCCP regulations.

Role requires researching, analyzing and resolving, issues related to internal customer queries regarding benefits, policy changes and other internal programs.

Participates in special projects that include process improvements, policy updates and best practices.

Please note this is a temporary position, 12 months.


The ideal candidate should possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications :

Bachelor's Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Affairs or related field.

Advanced English level written and verbal

3+ years of customer service and / or case management experience

Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with the application of the Americans with Disabilities Act and comparable state disability and Workers' Compensation laws.

Experience with HR policies around EEOC, FMLA and United States equivalent leave laws.

Experience in identifying workplace accommodation needs and proposing reasonable accommodation alternatives with the needs of the employee, the business requirements and all legal requirements in mind.
