Cloud Security Engineer
Gorilla Logic is working with our client, who is an industry leader in providing high-resolution earth imagery, to help build their team of highly intelligent and capable engineers.
Our client is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer, to work on our client’s AWS infrastructure management system. Based in San Jose, Costa Rica or remotely in the US, this is a unique and highly technical role, requiring extensive experience with Amazon Web Services, networking, security, compliance and application monitoring.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience building and managing Cloud environments including AWS, Azure and / or Google Cloud
Experience designing and implementing security, governance and compliance systems
Experience with automation, networking and incident response management systems
Experience with proactive and reactive security incident management solutions
Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to interact with Agile teams
Experience with ELK Stack, Splunk or similar monitoring tools
Experience with AWS security monitoring tools like prowler, scout suite or security monkey
Experience implementing RBAC automated models in AWS
Experience automating permission management on AWS with RepoKid / Ardvark
Experience with CloudCustodian or similar tools for reporting or security controls
Experience implementing GuardDuty on large production infrastructures
AWS Certified Security Specialty highly desired
