The Opportunity

The Field Sales Director of Finance will act as a strategic finance business partner to the Field Sales & Support Vice President.

In this role, the Director will report to the Senior Director for Digital Media B2B FP&A and be responsible for all FP&A support for the Field sales and Support organizations.

As a key member of the Field Leadership Team, you will help the Sales teams and Support organization drive towards financial goals across a complex product landscape.

Understanding the forecast, providing insight to Sales, Support, and Finance leadership, and effectively managing the cost structures offers a unique growth opportunity for an experienced FP&A leader.

What you’ll do :

  • Provide financial support to the Field Sales and Support leadership team across a large, complex and geographically diverse landscape
  • Lead and develop a team of FP&A professionals across multiple markets
  • Management of weekly ARR outlook / forecast process
  • Manage the cost structure and headcount outlook process, maintaining control on investments and hiring
  • Ensure continuous improvement in outlook accuracy, annual budgeting and rolling planning processes
  • Provide insight into high spend areas and guidance on ways to drive expense efficiencies or trade-offs in the business
  • Support Sales and Support leadership in quarterly QBRs, and post mortem analysis on quarterly performance with a lens on delivering insights and actions
  • Drive close partnerships with other key leaders especially Sales Ops, Employee Experience, and Sales & Support leadership.
  • Drive global projects as required and participate in global finance team meetings
  • What you’ll need to succeed :

  • Extensive Finance experience gained in the software industry
  • Track record of supporting a large scale Sales team
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills demonstrated by ability to grow and nurture relationships with internal partners at all levels
  • Experience driving a high-performance culture able to foster and develop great talent
  • Demonstrated success in driving both strategic and operational activities including the contribution to plan formulation and execution
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative abilities, driving high standards of accuracy
  • Capability to model and present complex financial information in an easy to understand format
  • Highly driven, creative problem solver who proactively learns new concepts
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in all written communications
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company where flexibility is key
  • Collaborative and able to work in a matrixed organization with cross-functional teams across multiple countries
  • Ability to create and drive a scalable team using dashboarding, predictive models, and robust processes.
