eBay is seeking an experienced candidate interested in supporting the international shipping program and making international commerce seamless for buyers and sellers.

The qualified candidate will bring their logistic experience as well as program management expertise to support world-class international solutions for eBay’s international shipping programs.

The Cross Border Trade Program Manager is responsible for optimizing the customer experience for our international ecommerce services.

The role ensures the ongoing development and monitoring of the eBay international ecommerce programs. This role will be responsible for understanding the overall customer journey and finding opportunities to continuously improve the customer experience.

This role will have a operational, service, and process improvement remit in relation to customer experience enhancement.

Key responsibilities :

Support and maintain the international ecommerce program through strategy, process development and standard methodology innovation to ensure customer satisfaction.

Work with an internal team of transportation specialists and outsourced vendors, documenting project scopes; developing long-range plans and project timelines;

and communicating with and influencing decision-makers and executives within the organization.

Assist with change initiatives from concept to implementation to achieve desired results by identifying and defining issues with customer's experience within the current international shipping programs, creating business cases and validating value and priority of initiatives.

Oversight of eBay policies, including Money Back Guarantee (eMBG), and losses related to our international shipping programs;

ensuring timely decision making and changes focused on balancing ROI

Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of the international program and initiatives;

consulting with business partners, sr. management, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Support the continuous improvement of the international shipping programs which may include monitoring of consolidation centers, warehouse transitions, new systems implementations or enhancements impacting the logistics area, process, and policy changes, developing new tools and techniques to reduce variance.

Monitoring and management of key financial metrics including program losses, liquidation provider manifests, insurance reconciliation and reimbursement, and customer / vendor returns to optimize program financial performance.

Basic Qualification :

4+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a logistics environment

3+ years of qualitative / quantitative data analysis,

3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations and Transportation-Logistics, international preferred

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements and perform root cause analysis

Experience with end-to-end customer delivery experience, ecommerce claims, disputes, charge backs or loss reconciliation

Demonstrated experience working with data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, & SQL

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience solving problems with innovative solutions

Preferred Qualifications :

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Research or related field

Experience in the international shipping / delivery sector

Experience with Lean and / or Six Sigma analytical techniques
