About the role

Reporting to the Procure to Pay Associate Manager, the PTP Vendor Master Data Analyst will provide the PTP team with expertise related to the Professional Buying Organization and Accounts Payable.

This role will work cross-functionally with all Bacardi departments and local finance offices to route and close all escalated issues.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Policy & Procedures

  • To implement and enforce usage of global governance (including MDG-S) and guidelines of Master Data management process globally
  • To suggest, facilitate, support and follow up any initiative relative to enhancement of vendor master data management / maintenance process
  • Liaise with the regional / local management to ensure that their vendor master requirements are captured and they adhere to the global MD vision, policies and proceduresProcesses & Operations
  • Support on Master Data activitiesoReview of vendor maintenance requests to ensure compliance to global standards and policiesoMass MaintenanceoMDG-S Application support
  • KPI & Vendor Report Creation and Analysis
  • Provide training and on-going support for MDG-S superusers
  • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities in all areas aboveProject Management
  • Identify, manage or participate in any implementation project where vendor master data is requiredTroubleshooting
  • Act as an entry point for any vendor MD and MDG-S issues within all Bacardi sites and ensure proper resolutionThis role will be performed within a corporate office environment, with minimal travel requirements.
  • At start up, there will be travel required for training and implementation purposes.

    Critical experiences for success

    To be successful in this role you will have / be :

  • Operations experience in PTP
  • Operations experience in Master Data Management including Governance
  • Hands-on experience on any of the major ERP platforms, preferably SAP and specialized tools like workflows, T&E platforms (CONCUR), SysAid (Ticketing) platforms etc.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manager escalations promptly
  • Provide High-level customer service quality
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and other financial software
  • Ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing company practices and mindsets
  • Detail oriented with the ability to capture information in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audiences
  • Proactive individual that can collaborate and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Works well in a team environment and is a self-starter who requires minimal direction and support
  • Knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism
  • Sense of urgency and customer service (internal and external)
  • Leadership and team management English 85%The following experiences are preferred :
  • Experience in the Spirits and / or FMCG industry is a distinct advantage
  • Solid knowledge of Bacardi Business Partner / Shared Services / Centre of Excellence
  • Experience in Shared Services environment preferred
  • Foreign language skills : Fully English speaking, other language is a plus
  • Troubleshooting and customer service experience in PTP & MDGRelevant education : Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems
