LI-DNI Become an integral part of creating an exceptional data, governance & operations ecosystem by joining the Global Sales Operations team as a leader of the Americas Sales Information and Governance team.

The Sales Information & Governance (SInG) Manager will be responsible for providing leadership for the Americas team located in Austin & National Instruments Costa Rica.

Americas SInG team is responsible for Account Data Management Governance business processes, execution on sales processes like territory management and sales compensation, and seller diligence reporting while ensuring alignment within the enterprise.

The successful candidate must have proven experience driving the adoption and value of process and technology and foster strong cross-

team / cross-departmental partnerships. In addition, the candidate should possess strong competencies in leadership, communication, team development, planning, organizing, adaptability, innovation, driving for results, change management, project management and negotiation.

The SInG manager will lead a team of Data Informatics Analysts who are responsible for execution within SLAs on Account Data Management, Sales Credits, Territory coverage and Reporting capabilities.

The SInG manager will also be part of the local Costa Rica branch leadership team. The candidate will be a key leader of the Global Sales Information & Governance team and will have an opportunity to work in a fast-

paced, highly collaborative environment with global managers in Europe and Asia / Pacific.

  • Develop strong relationships with business owners
  • Foster professional development of the Americas SInG team
  • Collaborate with other leaders to optimize resources and work distribution in order to reach team and company goal
  • Drive governance success & oversight in Americas :
  • oEnsure accountability for individual data entities with methods for demonstrating success through metrics, key performance indicators and third-party assessments

    oResponsible for execution on key Data Governance practices and ensure these are implemented consistently within the team

    oBusiness acumen on business process

    oMaintain SLAs and team productivity

  • Provide strategic direction & functional expertise on sales territory management and compensation processes
  • Drive optimization and assign reporting responsibilities to team members
  • Can visualize future opportunities for the organization, sell those ideas and execute on them
  • Evangelize business objectives and influence other business areas
  • Initiative to excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment and not afraid of doing hands on work occasionally
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to analyze problems and make decisions on the best solution
  • Demonstrated Project / Program Management skills
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (economics, statistics, operations research, computer science, engineering)
  • 2-4 Years of experience in data management, governance or data discovery preferably related to Customer / Account data models
  • Able to successfully manage a group of 6-8 people in a rapidly changing environment
  • Seen as a strong role model with the proven ability to mentor and develop people
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business process, data or information management, data flows and data relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the development of a new functional area
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence the actions of internal stakeholders and manage relationships with external stakeholders
  • Excellent facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills, including the ability to gain cross-departmental consensus
  • Team oriented and collaborative working style with stakeholders and customers
  • Facilitated resolution of opposing ideas or objectives
  • Effectively communicated (written and verbal) across multiple geographies and cultures
  • Experience hiring, developing, training, and retention of staff
  • English Language competency : can clearly and concisely communicate in English (both verbal and written)
  • Occasional international travel may be required to the USA
  • Experience working with Sales and Marketing organizations
