Firmware Senior Engineer – Customer support Wireless charging

Your responsibilities

Be a technical expert for firmware blocks related to NFC Wireless charging technology.

Reproduce and debug issue reported by customer.

Solve issues yourself in the firmware code or provide technical guidelines to R&D team to fix them.

Participate to the firmware development and test of new features related to NFC Wireless Charging.

You will be responsible of Firmware team communication with customers for technical topics :

New firmware features technical presentations, bug fixing application notes

Your profile

To be successful in this role you have :

Master / PhD degree in Electronic or Embedded software.

10+ years of experience in low level embedded software development with experience in reading and writing technical documentations.

Deep understanding of microcontroller architecture (ARM, RiscV) and real time operating systems.

Advanced C programming top skills

Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills

Experience with large embedded software architecture understanding.

Experience with at least one wireless communication standard such as NFC, BlueTooth, Wifi, 3GPP, UWB

Full fluency in using debuggers and measurement tools like oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.

Capability to understand board design documents mixing analog and digital parts.

Full fluency in English language both oral and written.

Furthermore, following skills are a plus :

Experience with Pre-tape out validation environment (FGPA, RTL simulation)

Good understanding of HW digital design (register description, datasheet, Verilog or VHDL)

Knowledge on radio transceivers fundamentals.

Experience with customer exposure ideally during design-in phase.

Ready for possible travels to various customers sites worldwide.
