You will provide administration and 2nd level technical support for McKinsey’s firm-wide Windows server and Active Directory environments, and related systems for security protection, monitoring, software distribution, etc.
Beyond that, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of these environments and related support procedures. Due to the global scope of IT operations all communication is in English, both for customer and team interactions.
Typical for the role, you will encounter a variety of support requests in the defined area on a regular basis in a fast-
paced environment. This will require you to be highly adaptable and open to work on new tasks, and you'll be responsible for keeping up with a rapidly changing environment through a strong willingness and ability to learn.
You will perform 2nd level support for our firm-wide Windows server (both physical and virtual) and Active Directory environments, you'll conduct advanced server troubleshooting that may be not documented in regular procedures, and you'll perform root cause analyses as part of the problem management process.
Additionally, you'll occasionally participate in infrastructure related projects.
