Job summary

The Operations Excellence Team within Screening Services is looking for a Learning & Development Manager, who will be responsible for developing and managing effective, scalable, and engaging learning solutions within a shared services environment.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to build out a program that is still fairly new and have the autonomy to set strategy and define goals for your team.

Through partnership with stakeholders, this individual will develop a strategic vision for how Service Delivery (SD) onboards and trains all delivery associates globally creating a more consistent experience for learners, improving ramp up speed for new hires, leveraging scalable e-learning tools, and establishing standards for graduating associates into unsupervised production work.

They will build out a learning framework and structure content in a way that improves the learning experience, defines required skills for individual programs or processes, and also works efficiently within business needs and goals.

Core responsibilities include :

  • Engage with Service Delivery teams and leaders to define learning goals and problems, making recommendations to remedy them through programmatic solutions.
  • Oversee the development of a learning portfolio and multi-faceted delivery approach, leveraging your teams’ resources to provide e-learning, in-person training, cross-training, and need based solutions.
  • Apply expertise of learning theories to solutions that solve difficult learning problems. Drive best learning practices standardization across all programs.
  • Partner with stakeholders and / or managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities, milestones, and drive delivery to meet program goals.
  • Ensure a successful learner experience through the development of KPIs and mechanisms that measure the success of the Learning Program.
  • Improve team processes and metrics; establishing programmatic solutions to measure success.
  • Recruit and interview to support the growth of Screening Services. Mentor and develop others.
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-5 years total work experience, with a minimum of 3 years in relevant domain.
  • Experience in either Learning & Development or Screening.
  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced university studies or equivalent experience.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • People management experience with a proven track record of developing talent and growing programs.
  • Experience in quality assurance or process improvement a plus.
  • Subject matter expertise in screening.
  • Proven effective communicator with an ability to leverage both written and verbal communication in order to communicate a strategy and drive change.
