As a you will be based in San José, Costa Rica. You will be working at Roche Services Americas, which is one of the Roche Shared Services Centers worldwide providing Finance, Procurement services to various countries in the Americas region.

In this role you will be reporting to GAMA Manager .

As a part of the GCCS project, the SSC Coordination Lead within the SSC has the responsibility for coordinating the project readiness activities specific to the SSC and associated Affiliates, preparing both the SSC and Affiliates for the new processes and systems deployed by GCCS.

The Global Closing Cockpit Solution (GCCS) consists of SAP Financial Closing Cockpit (FCC) and BlackLine Account Reconciliation solution and is part of the overall Finance Transformation program of Roche.

Your main task will include :

  • Based on the GCCS wave deployment planning, coordinate the high level readiness activities required within the SSC and Affiliate teams, being a central point of contact for fit-
  • gap assessments, data collection, knowledge transfer, and training coordination.

  • Align tasks and next steps with SMEs and project roles in the SSC and respective Affiliates per rollout wave, preparing both the SSC and Affiliates for the new processes and systems deployed by GCCS.
  • Interfacing with SSC transitions and SSC build-up
  • Support the knowledge transfer (KT) execution (ensuring SSC participation and sign off)
  • After a handover by the central project team during the first rollout wave in the SSC, for subsequent rollouts in the same SSC, coordinate and manage :
  • All required readiness activities,
  • The delivery of the training (ensuring all participants are aware and invited), also including reporting on training progress and training gaps, and sign off of completion
  • Support Go-Live from the SSC readiness perspective, Support the central project with wave rollout preparation, getting names against key project roles in the SSC and Affiliates
  • Support SSC teams in development and execution of on-boarding plans, e.g. resource planning (incl. recruitment & additional infrastructure as needed)
  • As the ideal candidate for this role, you have a Bachelor’s degree in Business / Finance / Accounting (Master’s degree desirable)

    5-10 years’ experience in finance / project roles with Finance / Accounting Shared Services

    Your further qualifications are :

  • Team manager / Project Management Experience
  • Experience with Shared Service Centre transitions.
  • Significant experience with the financial month end closing and accounts reconciliation processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment
  • Experience with SAP Finance.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Fluency in English
  • The desired start date would be as soon as possible.
