The successful candidates will report to the Head of Finance in San Jose, Costa Rica Key responsibilities : Leads the Revenue Recognition process in line with IFRS 15 requirements and recommendationsEnsures full compliance of Experian’s Revenue Recognition policy.
Applies IFRS 9 when necessaryOversees a small team of direct reports Timely reports of Revenue Recognition reconciliations to all stakeholders Completes the month-end checklist in detail.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills : Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar rolesAdvanced knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15 and IFRS 9Previous experience in Project management and in multi-currency environmentsAbility to lead change across the organisation and within the GFS, both on systems and processesExperience of working in fast paced, results driven role within complex organisationAbility to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skillsExperience of working in a multinational / global organisationSenior stakeholder exposureExperienced in handling sensitive issues / situations and cultural differencesStrong facilitation and presentation skillsAdvanced level of English skills, both written and verbal skills Six Sigma training preferableProven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employersMust be able to clear the company’s pre-employment screening Desirable Skills / Experience Exposure to Finance Shared Services, ideally internationally Experience in managing transformation processes in a Finance shared service environmentCertified Public Accountant or equivalent
