Working as part of the Partner Alliance team in our Service Provider and Edge Business Unit you will support a variety of partner programs enabling success for our Telco Alliance partners and Sr.
Partner managers. You will own the initial onboarding of our new partners, beginning with partner onboarding through their activation into our Ready for Telco Cloud Partner Certification Program and other onboarding tasks required to prepare new partners for working with VMware Telco programs.
A successful candidate will build impeccable first relationships and is highly skilled at ensuring a positive partner onboarding experience through execution of existing processes.
You will work closely with your peers on the Partner Alliance team and cross functional teams in the onboarding process to onboard and accelerate the time to first value for our partners.

Your regular activities may be modified to suit the needs of the Partner Alliance portfolio, however you can expect a variety of the following :
You will manage the initial partner onboarding and activation for all Telco Cloud products for assigned partners
You will initiate successful partner engagements, both as a team member for complex engagements, and solo for simpler engagements
You will anticipate partner needs and proactively address them throughout the onboarding phase, demonstrating lead time awareness, and ultimately positioning your partners for success.
You will ensure timely and successful partner onboarding with initial enablement, and training to help partners realize the business value of our partnership and offerings.
Maintain partner satisfaction by engaging the right VMware teams, removing roadblocks to support of our existing partners.
You will assist with onboarding-related support escalation to ensure issues are addressed and resolved as quickly as possible
You will be proficient in the use of SmartSheet (SaaS project management / online spreadsheet system) to create and maintain a variety of internal AND partner-facing dashboards to track partner status, partner projects, and reporting to senior management.
You will be proficient in the use of salesforce.com to assist the team in researching partner status in a variety of VMware programs.
You will assist team leadership in coordinating team input and preparing presentations for internal and external(partner) QBRs, as well as reporting to management as needed.
You will prepare for meetings and provide follow-up
Ability to manage multiple ad hoc projects simultaneously
Proficient in MS Office suite & other productivity tools
Attend and take notes during meetings and follow-up on action items
Strong analytical and Microsoft Office suite knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with salesforce.com and SmartSheet project management system
Clear, articulate verbal and written communication skills
Ability to capture business requirements and implement & visualize them efficiently
Experience of streamlining and optimizing processes
