Responsibilities

  • Maintain SYSS Latin America market intelligence and ensure LA strategy is in line with market conditions. Proactively monitor market data and make recommendations.
  • Ensure SYSS Latin America strategies align with the overall global strategy
  • Coordinate and plan meetings / events. In addition, prepare information for executive and corporate meetings as well as provide BU leaders with information aligned with LA market strategy
  • Coordinate long-term strategic planning and short-term planning process
  • Evaluate business performance of product lines and make portfolio recommendations to optimize growth and profitability for SYSS Latin America
  • Design and implement specialized analytical models to support business decisions, making recommendations based on research and analysis.
  • Lead presentations independently, collaborate and demonstrate the ability to connect the dots of research, data, and information, yielding actionable conclusions that result in strategic solutions
  • Formulate strategies, suggest changes or improvements to current business plans, policies, and procedures to optimize near-term growth.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and market changes
  • Research competition to identify threats and opportunities
  • Create dashboards to measure monthly strategy progress
  • Other special projects as assigned
  • Effectively communicate with local teams and Business Leaders

  • Requirements

    The successful candidate should be a self-starter and demonstrate strategic thinking abilities. In addition, the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact across business functions, as well as communicate effectively with all levels of the organization are essential to the position.

    Strong skills in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint). Key competencies desired : dealing with ambiguity, presentation skills and collaboration.

    Must be willing to do some travel and work in a multi-cultural environment. Having knowledge of business operations / procedures as well as an understanding market research and data analysis is a plus.

    Minimum Educational Qualifications : MBA with BA / BS in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field

    Minimum 5 years experience
