Position Purpose & Summary This role focuses on collecting news articles on broad topics important to Cargill and compiling those articles into newsletters and dashboards that can be distributed to those who need them.
Half of this work will be done for Cargill Protein & Salt. The other half will be work for issues of companywide importance.
This job requires sound judgment in determining whether often-ambiguous media data is relevant to the client. Successful candidates will be comfortable with sifting through large numbers of articles in a short timespan.
Principal Accountabilities 45% Provide media clipping service on topics important to Cargill as a whole.Use Cargill’s media collection tool and third-
party clipping services to collate media mentions about broad topics of companywide importance.Collate the most important items into regular newsletters, including Cargill’s Daily News BriefSave the articles into a centralized database for use in dashboards.

Minimum Required Qualifications -Assocaite degree or certificate in communications or related field-1 years of experience in communication -
Bilingual English-spanish-Ability to start work promptly at 6 a.m.-Ability to travel 5% Preferred Qualifications -Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English or similar -Proficiency with Excel
