Responsibilities :
Research, develop and evaluate state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for use in the next generation of computer graphics and animation systems.
Apply software engineering skills to identify challenges and future directions for our research.
Learn, collaborate and network alongside world-class researchers and creators; present your findings and contribute to the industry-leading entertainment technology community.
Author papers and write invention disclosures for developed algorithms and systems.
Establish and participate in academic collaborations.
Required Qualifications :
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or M.S. with research experience equivalent toPh.D.
Strong research background and demonstrated record of innovation in the area of AI / Machine Learning, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, or related areas.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Strong Deep Learning fundamentals
Strong professional software development experience
Good familiarity with modern C++, Python
Good familiarity with neural network training workflow using PyTorch pr TensorFlow.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and / or in a team environment
Ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge and experience in character motion control for game, animation or robotics.
Knowledge and experiences in 2D & 3D geometry, forward inverse kinematics.
Knowledge and experiences in generative models (GANs, VAEs) and self supervised learning
Knowledge and experience in 3D object motion modeling and optimization techniques
Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, Maya, or related software platforms
