As an NXP Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving and executing the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the WCS (Wireless Connectivity Solutions) business line at strategic customers within the Matter Alliance.

You will take the lead in shaping our Wireless Connectivity Solutions business through discovery and investigation within these key customers and other Matter Alliance ecosystem players to help create and communicate compelling value propositions that align the Americas growth strategy.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Develop, maintain, and deploy marketing strategies for strategic customers in the Americas.
  • Consolidate key technical requirements for the Matter Alliance and contribute to defining product roadmaps to win future designs at these strategic customers as well as other emerging markets.
  • Recognize, develop, and support key ecosystem partners within the Matter Alliance to drive faster adoption of NXP solutions and enable disruptive business growth.
  • Train and enable field sales and customer application support (CAS) teams on the Wireless Connectivity Solutions (WCS) module portfolio, strategy, and target applications to enhance technical skills needed to designing in NXP’s solutions.
  • Deliver executable market / competitor insights and analysis to Wireless Connectivity Solutions business line as well as into the global sales and marketing organization (GSM).
  • Actively manage both external and internal stakeholders including relationships within the Wireless Connectivity Solutions business line and the Americas account teams.
  • Master a solid understanding of business line capabilities, ambitions, and ability to map these to important opportunities in the Americas region.
  • Effectively report and track progress of all design win opportunities and actions to close.
  • Profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Self-Starter with very strong leadership, results oriented with an undying drive to win.
  • Experience leading development & execution of multimillion dollar account sales & marketing plans.
  • Proven track record of marketing in a fast growth, high tech company.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken (experience of dealing with diverse customers, cultures and functions).
  • Strong sales, negotiating, and influencing skills.
  • Regular exposure to senior executives
  • 5+ years additional experience in Marketing, Product Line Management, Key Account Management / Program Management or Application Engineering
  • Ability to travel >
  • 25% of the time

  • Knowledge and experience in key customers is an advantage
