National Instruments is currentlyseeking a Collections Specialist for the Finance Shared Service Center, aperson interested on being part of one of the 100 Best Places to Work.

Collections Specialist primary roleis performing collection calls on delinquent accounts also resolve accountdiscrepancies by investigating documentation, payments, refunds or adjustments.

A successful Collections Specialist will serve as liaison between CorporateCollections and customers (internal and external), It is key to have strongcommunication skills including advance level of Englishand beinga person with strong time management to accomplish with deadlines and properfollow up.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • This individual will beresponsible for US Account Collections :
  • Collectioncalls on delinquent accounts
  • Resolveaccount discrepancies by investigating documentation, payments, refunds oradjustments
  • Documentall customer communication in Oracle Advanced Collections system
  • Monitor and maintain assigned accounts
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative workingrelationships with sales and customers
  • Enlist the efforts of senior finance management or saleswhen necessary to accelerate the collection process
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned to supportthe Accounts Receivable Department
  • MAJOR CHALLENGES :

  • Tolearn and implement NI collection policies and procedures
  • Tocommunicate with NI Corporate & NI Costa Rica AR staff effectively
  • Abilityto analyze and evaluate risk of delinquent accounts
  • Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :

  • Advanced English knowledge
  • Actively studying a university Accounting, Business Administrationor Finance career
  • 2+ years of corporate collections or customer service workexperience with a Global company.
  • Must possess very good communication skills includingexcellent English
  • Highlevel of PC skills, preferably using Excel and MS Word
  • Familiarity with Oracle Financial applications would bean advantage
  • Experience with U.S. multi-national companies would be anadvantage
  • Ability to work well with people, good team member.
