The Adobe Commerce UX design team is seeking an enthusiastic and multifaceted Senior User Experience Designer to drive mobile UX and mobile visual design for Adobe commerce experiences across the company.
We're looking for an individual keenly interested in going above and beyond to understand who our customers are including every facet of their needs and wants.
This person will be highly motivated to solve our customers' problems in new and innovative ways using a deep, well-rounded knowledge of industry trends but with a distinct passion to push beyond those trends in turn, setting them.
Our team is specifically dedicated to strategizing and building comprehensive design systems to support commerce experiences throughout the company.
In this role, you'll drive both visual and UX design for the mobile iterations of checkout, trial experiences, app paywalls, payment management, and much more.

On our team you will :
Be the voice of the customer and a vocal advocate for user centered design
Be responsible for developing and promoting our design strategy in the mobile app and web spaces
Regularly present your work to a wide audience of partners at all levels; both for input and to champion your projects
Own and contribute to the end-to-end design of a wide variety of commerce related experiences; from concept to launch and through to ongoing testing and iteration
Sketch, wireframe, write, prototype, and animate to turn concepts into high-fidelity designs and design systems
Collaborate with copywriting partners to take your UX language to the next level
Drive qualitative research to better understand your customers, to validate the direction of your design work, and to supplement quantitative research
Use analytics data to constantly validate, improve, advocate for, and measure the success of your work
Use competitor analysis and industry wide standard methodologies to identify user experiences that will deliver value to our customers
Work with customer support partners to help identify potential problems and project opportunities
Work closely with each member of the commerce design team and our extended design team partners to build cohesive end to end customer experiences
Work in close partnership with our product managers to help define and execute on project requirements and business objectives
Work with our engineering teams to provide guidance and ensure the quality of the implementation of your projects
What you need to succeed :
5+ years of user experience design work (commerce experience a plus)
BA / BFA degree, or equivalent work experience, with an emphasis on user experience, interaction design, or visual design
Clean design aesthetic with a strong eye for layout, color, and typography
Strong copywriting skills
Strong data driven design, user research, and prototyping skills
Ability to communicate design ideas persuasively and concisely
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Skilled in Adobe design products (experience with Adobe XD a plus)
