Assumes responsibility for processing transactions pertaining to Vendor / Account specific programs at Tech Data. Offers live support for all Sales questions, configures quotes, gathers appropriate documentation, follows up on quotes, and places orders.

Acts on behalf of sales to enter and track orders through the entire process until invoicing stage. Assists with Vendor specific training and Marketing when needed.

This role will not outbound call, but will help with inbound calls in the event that the team is understaffed. This role will be "specialized" in vendor lines.

  • In addition, they will be in charge of promos, tracking, etc. ;
  • Supports Customers, Sales, and Vendors in facilitation of all Sales related tasks.Owns Administrative transactions regarding account / vendor specific requests such as ASM queries, Open orders, releasing holds, reporting.

    Serves as facilitator and ambassador for vendor info and programs, helps manage L&;L activities and trainings- Product and Technology vendor focused specialist.

  • Assumes full team / sales department-wide responsibility ;for sales questions, order entry, as well as any issues / problems as a ;
  • result.Files software licensing quotes / orders in order system.May assist ;with special pricing opportunities.Staffs phones only when needed to achieve superior customer service levels.

    Gathers all appropriate documentation needed to ;facilitate order.Logs licensing quotes and uses appropriate follow up ;procedure.

    Acts as liaison to Customers, Sales, and Vendors to ;ensure shipment of product and proper billing to customer.Conducts follow-

    up activities tied to invoicing ;including fax and emailing of order confirmations and specialized ; ; ; ; authorization processes.

  • Participates in vendor sponsored and corporate ;sponsored training specific to Vendors assigned and provides assistance ;

    Previous Work Experience : 1 year experience in Customer Service / Admin tasksEducation / Certifications Needed : High School Diploma or higherWindows packages certification a plusKnowledge, Skills, and / or Abilities Required : Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
