Job Description :

The Integration Engineer assists in the day-to-day activities and executes integration-related tasks for project deliverables and product maintenance.

These projectscover initiatives related to interoperability of our core systems and standardizing exchange of information across them.

Essential Duties (not limited to) :


  • Learn necessary application components for integration, either through direct training, exposure, and / or usage of the application.
  • Understand fundamental business rationale for applications undergoing integration.
  • Analyze opportunities for improvement against the integration jobs-to-be-done.
  • Obtain workflow, technical, data, and operations information to determine the prioritized needs and requirements for integration initiatives.
  • Design

  • Determine and scope integration requirements, including data requirements, business rules, user requirements, connectivity specifications, and integration solution architecture for read / write-back capabilities.
  • Provide recommendations for configurations and development based on integration jobs-to-be-done and incorporating best practices of human-centered design and project management.
  • Incorporate standards and specifications of third-party applications and integration stakeholders to inform design.
  • Development

  • Perform integration work as indicated, not limited to but including : connectivity establishment, security and authentication verification, data integrity and mapping tasks as well as application integration component development to support the integration.
  • Support optimizations and upgrades of the integration.
  • Building microservices and restful API
  • Experience with usage of HTTP Restful APIs
  • CI / CD experience using tools like ServiceNow or GITHUB


  • Execute testing for technical, workflow, security, data integrity, quality assurance, connectivity, and human-centered design processes.
  • Learn, perform, develop, and support quality assurance processes, tools, and scripts for testing purposes, engaging cross-functional roles of the organization, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Deployment and Monitoring
  • Provide wraparound support for integration deployment, not limited to but including training document creation, specification documentation, webinar facilitation, tip sheets, processes for deployment, translation of information for cross-functional roles, etc.
  • Execute deployment of integration and application software as indicated per change control and implementation processes.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide ongoing support for integrations using monitoring application tools and responding to Support Services tickets and feedback from the network.
  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science

  • Experience / Years :
  • 2+ years of experience with Integration using SMTP, IMAP with strong programming knowledge in Java
  • Strong understanding of JSON and SQL a plus
  • Ability to explain integration items to non-technical people as well as technical customers
  • Ability to produce clear integration documentation
  • Good understanding of cloud platform solutions and services such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • SQL experience against complex relational databases preferred
  • Agile / Scrum experience preferred
  • Application experience preferred with the following : Microsoft Office Professional / M, Power BI, prototyping software, virtual communication and meeting software, and virtual content collaboration software.
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

  • Ability to work with hybrid remote / in-person teams and flexible schedule when supporting projects across multiple time zones
  • Strong problem-solving, investigation, troubleshooting, and decision-making process skills.
  • Previous experience implementing and support API integrations.
  • Previous Project Management experience and thorough attention to detail
  • Experience integrating with ERP, CRM, HCM. Full-stack coding experience with Java, Python or similar programming languages
  • Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines, while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. Self-motivated with the demonstrated ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a self-directed environment while managing multiple tasks and constantly changing priorities.
  • Serves as primary contact for clients during the integration process.
  • Conducts analysis of clients’ existing processes and works with clients for process optimization and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Facilitates training and may require up to 25% travel to clients’ sites.
  • Responds to all client inquiries and troubleshoots, reports and resolves issues.
  • Updates and maintains the customer relationship and project management software with all steps taken in the integration implementation process.
  • Responsible for both the overall success of projects and client satisfaction while maintaining a positive relationship with all : clients, vendors and developers.
  • A passion to stay current with new technologies and engineering concept.
  • Working Conditions :

  • General office setting and desk work at computer terminal
  • May be required to lift, carry, bend, reach and stand with parcels up to 25 lbs.
  • Will work in a close multidisciplinary and international team environment
  • May interface with clients in various settings
