The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Manager is a senior professional position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team.
The overall objective is to manage professional team(s) / department(s) and apply analytical thinking / knowledge of data analysis methodologies to create and analyze reports that gauge Citi’s alignment with forecasted performance.
Develop analytical support working with local FP&A teams and their business partners
Understand in-depth how work is coordinated across areas and how it impacts the overall organization and bank strategies
Influence decisions through advice, counsel and / or facilitating services to others in area of specialization
Integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area
Lead financial conversation directly with businesses & finance senior management
Work on Ad-hoc request based on the business necessity. Specific activities include :
Analysis of key management review decks for Regions & Products
Participation in time critical activities for FP&A teams
Conducting monthly and quarterly reporting.
Development of materials for review with Business
Lead, sponsor and support reengineering projects to improve productivity, improve controls and quality of key activities.
Drive standardization of activities including the identification of productivity and efficiency
Ensure there is a strong culture of high integrity, ethics and meritocracy
Involved in coaching and training of new team members
ICG O&T CR Manager Key Responsibilities
Lead the Global, Regional and Mexico ICG O&T FP&A teams.
Build a strong relationship with Global, Regional and Countries Products FP&As
Build a strong relationship with the Regional Chief of Staff, providing accurate analysis and insights that support business decision.
Build a strong relationship with the Regional Controllers, providing and receiving inputs for the Closing and highlighting any Actuals correction for the following Month.
Review and present Plan / Outlook / Closing / CEO / CFO Decks to senior managers and Global teams.
Manage plan / outlook calendar, coordinating all deliverables with all ICG O&T teams.
Track Plan / Outlook progress, deliverables, anticipate issues, and escalate concerns to the Regionals ICG O&T Leaders.
6-10 years of relevant experience
Previous supervisory experience
Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated presentation skills
Demonstrated analytical skills
Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
Bachelor's Degree / University degree or equivalent experience
Master’s degree preferred
