Your Career

The Lead Sales Analyst will be a key member of the AMERICAS team, contributing to the business analysis that is relevant to sales.

The Analyst will be responsible for the organization, accuracy, consistency and presentation of this information.

The Americas Sales Operation team partners with and supports the sales teams (Majors, Named, International, Vertical, etc.

to help them define and execute their strategy. The ideal skill-set of the Sales Operations staff is a combination of a strong analytical mindset and a good business head.

Our team increases the efficiency and robustness of our analytics processes using a number of analysis platforms including Einstein / Wave (salesforce.

com’s analytics platform), Tableau, Excel and other tools. Hence the need for a partner that can team-up with the existing staff and augment our analysis and delivery capabilities by leading end-

to-end projects that capture all the analysis requirements, architects the systems needed to enable them, collaborates in the discovery, design and representation of the business metrics and manages the timely targeted distribution of Business Intelligence to the appropriate audience.

This is an individual contributor position and an exceptional opportunity for someone interested in joining a top-notch team in a highly visible capacity with great potential for expansion, growth and development.

One of the main goals is to quickly put actionable information on the hands of those in a capacity to act. Some of the metrics and process we intend to improve or implement include forecasting, annual planning, productivity, sales performance, sales pipeline analysis, historic performance referencing, amongst others.

The main source of data is our Salesforce.com system often complemented with other data sources (excel, anaplan, external data sources, etc.).

Your Impact

The ideal Candidate for this position is someone that knows and understands the main characteristics of the technology sales business (sales roles and processes, channels, marketing, order-

to-cash processes, sales performance metrics, etc.), is familiar with analytics tools, is an excellent and organized Project Manager, a good communicator that works well cross-

functionally and someone that knows and / or believes in the power of Data as an strategic business tool. Responsibilities include :

  • Acting as key supporting member for the AMERICAS Sales & Sales Operations teams for reporting requirements and business analytics, under the guidance of the Americas Sales Operations Lead
  • Provide recommendations, based on data analysis, in support of key business decisions that impact the Field Operations.
  • Continuous development of standard reporting tools to support the ever-changing requirements of the business.
  • Align with the salesforce.com implementation team around ongoing reporting requirements.
  • Manage and consolidate weekly forecasts, territory / account updates and ad hoc requests.
  • Work in conjunction with our reporting teams in feeding requirements into the reporting initiative.
  • Work with other Sales Operations teams, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources to develop scalable and repeatable solutions to share / maintain departmental headcount data.
  • Prepare executive presentations
  • Your Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years related experience in Sales Operations, Business Analysis or a Financial Analyst role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel specifically Pivot tables connecting to diverse data sources.
  • Familiarity is salesforce.com, Clari or other CRM tools
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other analytics tools
  • Knowledge of business KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and best practices around Dashboards and Report Visualization.
  • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Logical and efficient.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Solid communication skills, IT and business oriented.
  • Capable skills in documentation of architecture business requirements and user processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or management.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work in a matrix reporting structure
