The EMEA Customs and Compliance team provides import and export solutions and consulting that contribute to low cost, competitive, predictable and compliant supply chain execution across the borders.

A Customs Control Tower team is the primary interface to our customs brokers, logistics team, order management as well as IT.

You are working in a multi-national, multicultural and multilingual business environment.

The major responsibilities are :

  • SDA. Shipment Delay Advisory resolution process. Support the customs brokers globally by providing all required information in order to complete the clearance process.
  • Order Management Systems. Daily interaction with the order management creation systems such as GTS / SAP, Fusion, S4, in order to analyze and drive to solution any issue preventing the customs invoices creation.
  • IT Support tickets creation. After a primary investigation, CCT is responsible for placing the ticket the different IT support teams in order to fix any issue affecting our operations.
  • Daily interaction with the Business Units. Providing the status for their shipment under clearance process or requesting them any required information in order to release their shipments.
  • Creation and review performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the local team in executing all kind of activities around import and export processes;
  • Analyze all issues which are connected to missing or incorrect invoices;
  • Address issue to the respective owner (Oder Management, Sales Operations, IT Support) by using the right tools;
  • Escalate unresolved issues;
  • Keep the broker / business partner updated;
  • Keep track of reported issues;
  • Owns the issue until it gets resolved;
  • Proactive monitoring of SAP systems critical processes;
  • Handover open Major Incidents with global impact between the time zones as per the agreed process;
  • Find and send invoice to a broker;
  • Preparing monthly reports.
  • The profile :

  • Fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work flexibly and on own initiative
  • PC and Microsoft Office tools knowledge
  • SAP and GTS knowledge is a big advantage
  • Willingness and capability to get trained in Customs Operations details
  • Background in business administration
  • Ability to recognize problems and direct them to the appropriate person
  • Ability to work under time pressure and "stressful" conditions
  • Ability to effectively interact with people at all levels and across a worldwide geography
