Position Purpose & Summary
As part of the Growth and Enabler structure, this position is responsible for leading, influencing and coordinating efforts between the different technologies, functional areas of the business, Regional Domain and Sub-
regional leaders to provide services ofcontrol and visibility related to the expected level of EHS compliance of each Sub-
cluster or operational site, including implementation and deployment Compliance Management Systems i.e. SOGi (Integrated Online Management System) to monitor and track compliance of regulations,licenses and permits, etc.
This position has a critical role as the main member of the Regional EHS team to give visibility, follow-up and alerts, evaluate progress, build analysis and trends, benchmarking, contacting SME in of the Domain structure, etc.
as a way to help Regional Domains, Sub-Regions Leaders and Operations / Business to ensure that programs and processes are effective, efficient and sustainable from the perspective of Legal Compliance.
This position requires critical skills and competencies (oral and written communication, basic interpretation of legislation and regulations, trainings, teamwork, relationship with stakeholders, accessible, attentive to Details, long-term thinker etc.)
30% - Strategic plan :
Work with focal points (people from the facility) to ensure the implementation of the compliance theme in South America operations
Implement initiatives that provide visibility to compliance risks across the business
Identify key emerging issues that may require a strategic response and support implementation (when required) with operation and functional areas (legal, corporate affairs, etc.)
Coordinate regulatory surveillance actions and remain up to date with legislations, directives and new regulatory information related to EHS Themes, for the whole business Within your Sub-region
Ask the Dominos to perform analysis of applicability and develop plans and deployment tools with the legal department within the Sub-region
Work with consulting firms specializing in the legal services management sector, as well as technical issues
Coordinate audits of the legal compliance management system on the premises.
40% - Continuous Improvement :
Define operational processes to ensure the management of legal assistance in operations
Identify opportunities, provide information and promote the implementation of necessary changes to the legal compliance of the requirements with the operational and functional areas
Provide feedback and support in optimizing technologies needed to promote legal compliance
Coordinate the maintenance of reliable data records and information regarding legal assistance in different systems and technologies (e.g. SOGi)
Promote alignment, provide resources and develop the "sense of owner" of technologies with respect to the legal obligations inherent to the business
compliance and conduct regular meetings aimed at updating the status of legal assistance with the operational leadership of the facilities and with EHS professionals.
Knowledge of the compliance management system, understand the capabilities of soGI, understand the needs of the business to develop and create processes to meet their needs.
10% - Communication :
Create reports of identification, prioritization and needs related to sustainability or correction of legal issues
Inform emerging legal trends for business decisions.
20% - Analysis and reporting :
Conducting or participating in in-depth risk analysis in EHS along with the domains to outline area and work with EHS professionals and specialized services to propose technological solutions for the risks of systemic compliance
Develop reports, manage data and records and promote preventive alignments in relation to legal assistance in EHS
Deploy systems and metrics to effectively monitor, track, and report progress and check points to ensure accuracy of the information handled in the systems.
Electronically register and archive evidence proving legal compliance Interpreting information, summarizing and communicating impacts as a means of Priorizing risks and investments.
Superiorin engineering or formation in the area of environmental, quality and related
Desirablepost-graduation in the areas of safety, environment, quality, administration etc.
5-10years of relevant experience in EHS or quality
Experiencewith the industrial environment
LeadAuditor of Management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and / or OHSAS 18001)
Continuousimprovement (experience with Six Sigma tools and DMAIC methodology (Define,Analyze, Implement, Control); Green Belt Certification and experience withcontinuous improvement projects are desirable differentials
