IoT Security Solution Sales Specialist - AMEC

Today’s IoT devices must be designed with advanced security technology to protect the integrity and access of the device, as well as the confidentiality, authenticity and availability of their data.

We are looking for a talented IoT security professional, who wants to shape the security strategy of the largest and innovative IoT OEM in the world, by helping them design and implement successfully end to end secure IoT system.

Within the IoT Security Business Development team, the Security Solution Sales Specialist is responsible to create and grow security demand and revenues for NXP Security Solutions Portfolio in IoT & Industrials market, by working closely with our Sales team and IoT & Industrials Business Lines.

Your role will be to help IoT OEM to determine the system security needed to ensure product compliance with applicable security standards and regulations, as well as product user expectations and company risk management policies to prevent local and remote attacks,

You will act as the trusted advisor of NXP’s broad portfolio of scalable security solutions, and help IoT OEM to achieve the effective security levels, while advising them on how to reduce cost associated to security implementation.

Responsibilities :

  • Grow IoT Security opportunities funnel by working closely with our Sales team and Business Lines.
  • Deep dive on customers technical security problems, and identify how to solve them using NXP and Partners Products and Services Portfolio
  • Build security narratives tailored to customers problems and present them during live meetings with customers.
  • Guide the customers through possible security architectures that answers their requirements
  • Act as the security trusted advisor for the opportunity at the customer side
  • Drive regular follow up with sales team and close design win
  • Accountable for IoT & Industrials security related revenues creation and growth in your region
  • Provides customers inputs to Business Lines and influence security related roadmaps
  • Support security related events messaging and materials in your region
  • Qualifications

  • MSc Electrical Engineering, Information Security; Business management or Marketing MBA
  • Experience in selling security solutions and services, in preference in IoT
  • Strong background on IoT Ecosystems and Clouds
  • Know-how on security, cryptography, IC application and cloud.
  • Deep knowledge on PKI principals
  • Entrepreneur mindset
  • Excellent presentations skills, ability to adapt speech to the audience
  • Ability to convince people
  • Ability to learn and deep dive on new technologies
  • Strategic thinker, focus on the big picture
  • Experience with Salesforce is appreciated
