Minimum Education / Experience Requirements :
Required :
Proficient w / MS Project and Agile SW program management techniques (e.g. Sprints, Scrum, Lean)
Engineering degree in either Computer Science or Computer Engineering
SW Compiler / Simulator / Assembler / Linker product tool chain development / program management experience
Work Experience : Minimum of 8+ years of relative SW work Experience and Education : Bachelors with min 6 years of related experience OR Masters or MBA with min 4 years of related experiencePLUS minimum of 2+ years of hands on relative SW Program Management experience
Ideal / Plus :
Processor development background (CPUs, GPUs, DSPs)
Familiarity with Confluence / Jenkins / Atlassian-JIRA
Experience with automation for / with Microsoft Applications
Knowledge of ISO9001 and / or ISO26262 Functional Safety
Some finance / contract terminology background (ROI, Revenue Accrual through Percentage of Completion, SOWs)
Programming skills (Python, C++ / Java, VBA, SQL) useful for automation, dB management Optional
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities :
Lead the planning and track the implementation of projects
Document adherence to quality procedures and present / stand for ISO 9001 audits
Take projects through product planning phase for sign off between engineering and marketing
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Develop full scale project plans
Manage / track project resource allocation using existing online tools
Plan and schedule project timelines
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
Provide direction and support to project team
Support quality assurance
Constantly monitor and report on progress / KPIs of the project to all stakeholders
Present to senior management on project progress, problems and solutions
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Engineering to assure effective and efficient project execution
Training and Further Experience :
Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Knowledge of SW project management techniques and tools
Direct work experience in project management capacity
Proven experience in risk management
Proven experience in change management
Proficient in project management software
Key competencies :
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Strong organizational skills and deep understanding of Project Management concepts for planning, monitoring, and reporting
Effective analytical skills with an ability to identify issues and resolve, or identify the internal resources to assist
Successfully executed enterprise-wide initiatives : defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.
