Marketing Specialist - Fluent Portuguese
A Marketing Specialist is a senior position on the marketing team and brings with it a level of insight and strategy to project pursuits, working with multiple Principals, Firm Leaders, and the Regional Marketing team in developing Gensler’s approach to specific clients and opportunities.
Marketing Specialists have a deep understanding of the design industry and the practice areas that Gensler works within.
This position requires you to write, design, and prepare collateral materials, presentations and new business proposals.

What You Will Do
Working with principals, senior staff, and regional marketing team members to design, write and produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards
Participating in and championing strategy and planning sessions
Developing new materials to support business development activities
Facilitating workshops and strategy meetings that support the positioning and increase the visibility of the São Paulo & LATAM market
Coordinate PR events and activities such as speaking engagements, award submissions, media outreach together with Regional PR leader
Coordinate Communications activities such as photography sessions, update Gensler communication channels such as website, social media, editorial, etc
Understanding and learning, Gensler’s portfolio of work, practice areas, and firm wide capabilities
Coordinating business development activities, including managing capital improvement program information, incoming leads, following-up, and tracking opportunity status
Managing other responsibilities as assigned
Being an integrated Marketing Team member
Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing position with a design, architecture or professional services firm
Able to communicate fluently in Portuguese and English is a must
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Communications or Marketing
Experience managing significant marketing projects independently, coaching associates for presentations, and working closely with senior staff on marketing programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating effective presentations and marketing collateral
Ability to provide strategic thinking and recognize competitive advantage opportunities for Gensler, leveraging these into marketing pitches
Self-motivator with strong organizational and intra-personal skills, and a great collaborator
Ability to translate English to Portuguese / Portuguese to English, when required
Experience working directly with senior staff on business-critical projects with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to work with diverse project teams and in a fast-paced work environment
A high degree of competency with the Adobe programs, especially InDesign is a must
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a plus
Photography curation and digital archiving knowledge is preferred
Experience in working with CRM and other infrastructural and sales tools is a plus
