As a Technical Support Engineer, youll solve complex technical issues for our customers applying best practice solutions.

In this strategic role, youll act as a mentor to the wider team. Through proactively reviewing and mitigating risk, youll minimize any potential service disruptions for top global internet companies.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for :

  • Working with internal cross functional teams to solve technical problems for our customers
  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor to our strategic customers
  • Solving technical problems, demonstrating Akamais value, and communicating clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences
  • Managing support for Media, Web and Enterprise customers
  • Do what you love

    To be successful in this role you will :

  • Have some experience providing technical solutions and support
  • Be a great collaborator and communicator, be curious and want to innovate
  • Be curious by nature with a robust desire to constantly learn new technologies
  • Be familiar with the Internet, including technologies and fundamental protocols such as DNS, TCP / IP and HTTP
  • Have some familiarity with Linux / Unix-like operating systems
  • Be an effective team player willing to collaborate with people across the business
  • Demonstrate great communication skills with fluency in the English language
