The Opportunity

  • Adobe is looking for an attorney to join our Corporate Legal team in our Legal, Security, and Policy Group. In this role, your ideas and contributions will affect Adobe'
  • s strategy and growth as you will support our corporate development team on M&A, investments, and other strategic transactions.

    You will also help support Adobe’s antitrust compliance efforts, as well as other general corporate matters.

    We're looking for a self-starter with excellent judgment who is able to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

    You should enjoy working collaboratively with other members of Legal and the teams we support and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

    What you'll Do

    Help support Adobe’s corporate development team on mergers and acquisitions, investments, and strategic transactions across all stages, including performing and managing due diligence, drafting and negotiating NDAs, term sheets, definitive agreements, and other ancillary M&A documents, and supporting post-closing integration.

    Work on antitrust compliance issues related to our corporate development activities.

    Identify and drive improvements in deal processes and execution.

    Help with other corporate law matters, including securities filings.

    Work collaboratively across the organization, including with senior executives, to build consensus and drive projects to completion.

    Effectively manage outside counsel on a global basis.

    What you need to succeed

    JD from an accredited law school and an active membership in at least one state bar.

    4+ years of related experience at a top law firm or in-house legal department, specifically in M&A and investments. A combination of both in-house and law firm practice experience is a plus!

    Excellent judgment, communication (verbal and written), organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple groups and functions.

    A self-starter who can operate independently and work well in a team.

    An approachable, easygoing, and flexible manner with a great sense of humor.

    An attention to detail.

    Excellent negotiation skills.

    Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in Colorado.

    Colorado Starting Salary : $129,100 - $167,600

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.

    Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
