Support Transfer Manager in specific activities to facilitate and support the transfers of new products to MicroVention’s facility in Costa Rica.
Execute process validations to support product transfers and new product introductions. Assurance adherence to internal procedures / quality guidelines and external regulatory requirements. Job duties :
Support teams in the transfer of medical device manufacturing between sites. Including writing or verifying specifications, maintaining production process and validating processes & equipment.
Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans;
implementing production, productivity, quality, resolving problems, identifying risks and trends.
Implement or use Lean, Six Sigma and 5s methodologies.
Review and analyze product need to determine project requirements.
Consults with other departments to improve production and quality of product.
Effectively manages multiple projects simultaneously leveraging required and available resources as needed.
Working dotted line with the Sr. Transfer & Project Manager, this position must provide regular updates to management in regard to the progress of the different transfers.
Guide Engineers and Technicians. (if applicable)
Working knowledge of standard machine stop equipment and process.
Knowledge of medical and technical development.
Background in Lean Six Sigma Techniques.
Proficient in Minitab and Statistics, etc..
Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Chemistry Degree.
Five (5) years of experience in medical industry and transferring lines.
Fully Bilingual (English / Spanish)
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
US Visa approved and Up to date passport.
Ability to travel 5% of the time.
Strong project management and organizational change management skills required.
Detail oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Ability to self-direct.
Computer skills including Work, Excel, Statistical Software, Solid Works.
Reading and preparing technical documentation.
Ability to appropriate identifying project needs and adapt methodology to support delivery.
