Job Description :
Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and / or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers’ business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers’ businesses.
As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry / market domain knowledge.
Actively contribute to the company’s solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects.
Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
Contribute to organization’s profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.
Create the SOW and Financial file of the project.
Lead the planning and implementation of project.
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
Define project tasks and resource requirements. Develop full scale project plans.
Assemble and coordinate project staff. Owns and manages the project budget.
Manage project resource allocation (ramp-up / ramp-down).
Plan and schedule project timelines. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
Provide direction and support to project team. Provide feedback to each resource at the end of the project. Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions with customer.
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Project evaluations and assessment of results. Regular project reviews and business reviews with Customer teams.
Conduct lessons-learned post-implementation reviews.
Daily communication and project collaboration with the Operational teams.
Adhere to organizational standards (CMMI L3). International travel aprox 25% of the time.
Required Skills and Experience
3 7 years of experience in Project Management.
Bachelor's (undergraduate) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineer or industry related discipline as a minimum.
Experience in managing application projects.
Ability to work independently within a framework.
Strong Project management skills, PMP certification desired
Efficient in leading large, multidisciplinary teams of technical and business professionals in a virtual environment.

Able to work under pressure (tight schedule, changing schedule).
Ability to solve difficult problems.

Understanding of different project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, CCPM) and maturity models (CMMI, OPM3).
Excellent English communication skills - written and verbal.
Portuguese is a plus.
