Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in information security or security assurance and compliance
  • Proven people management experience
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Strong knowledge of technology and security topics including network security, application security, infrastructure hardening and security baselines, web server, database security
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management process standards including Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS)
  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements (i.e., PCI, ISO, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Familiarity with tools like Qualys, Jira, Confluence
  • Recognized industry certification and/or continuing education programs are a major plus including CISSP, CEH, Security+
  • Job Description:

    As part of Oracle+NetSuite’s Security Team, the Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and leading the work of security analysts related to vulnerability and threat risk management, including identification, remediation, mitigation, negotiation, reporting/presentation of status and results (both written and verbal).

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

  • Oversee delivery of vulnerability management activities and provide status updates to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Influence and align with key stakeholders on priorities, identify key roadblocks, and work with the team to keep things moving forward
  • Feel comfortable voicing their own opinion while negotiating with key stakeholders
  • Develop and report on vulnerability metrics and KPIs on a regular basis
  • Partner with stakeholders to streamline, standardize and mature vulnerability management program and tooling
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff using a performance management process including goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning
  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Manage a team that is responsible for the information security function, including but not limited to information technology security controls and architecture, information privacy, incident response/investigations and digital forensics, disaster recovery and business continuity, regulatory compliance, communication and training for information security initiatives.

    Leads a small team maintaining and/or implementing information security policies and procedures.Supervises the development, deployment and execution of controls and defenses to ensure the security and risk mitigation of company infrastructure technology and information systems.Identifies security architecture, goals, objectives and metrics; analyzes business needs and priorities for protection of critical systems. Monitor security programs and assurance, e.g. threat and vulnerabilities management, incident response management, management of forensic investigations.Evaluates potential business impacts from security breaches and provides guidance to business decision-makers. Assists with the development and execution of security systems compliance policies and procedures. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

    Minimum 5 years experience in the Information Security field required.Preferred but not required qualifications include:Bachelor-level university degree in a relevant field from an accredited university, or equivalent. Previous experience as dotted line manager, vendor manager, employee mentor or technical lead.
