As a Senior / Principal Backend Software Engineer, you will work on projects critical to our needs with opportunities to create innovative cloud-native solutions.
As part of the team, you will be responsible fordesigning, developing,and maintaining systems. The systems and servicesprovidedby this team are highlyscalable and effective with high quality.
This role also provides you an opportunity to improve existing processes and mentor engineers!
Responsibilities :
Innovate, design, build and maintain cloud-native services, API connectors and security software systems
Work closely with product, marketing, and customer support teams to build end-to-end security solutions and enterprise integrations
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science or a related field relevant experience (7+ years Sr level / 10+ years Principal level)
Extensive hands-on experience in building enterprise-grade security or network products with lead or architect roles for Principal level applicants
Broad experience in building end to end security system, gateway or proxy
Deep knowledge and experience in networking, Web technologies, HTTP API proxy and content processing
Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, Javascripts, Go, Python
Experience in building highly scalable Cloud services and REST APIs
Experience in Public Cloud(GCP / AWS), automated build, deployment and modern CICD
Extensive experience in databases, data processing, monitoring and performance
Bonus experience with CDN, load balancer, proxy(e.g. Nginx, Envoy) or commercial connector(e.g. Salesforce) products and module plugin
Preferred Qualifications :
Strong understanding of CI / CD methodologies.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.
Experience with Kubernetes in production use cases and running applications at scale in Kubernetes.
