Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies.

They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

What your background should look like :

Continuous Improvement Analyst II Responsible for working with the TEOA tool owners of Costa Rica manufacturing sites to develop, implement and sustain the assigned tools.

Also, leads cost savings and improvement opportunities kaizens. Continuous Improvement Analyst also supports training on the TEOA tools and Problem Solving, coaching the different teams of the organizations on their kaizens and other continuous improvement activities. Responsibilities :

  • Works under general supervision.
  • Normally receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
  • Collaborates with colleagues and may train or mentor other employees; builds productive internal / external working relationships.
  • Leads and coaches Kaizens across the company.
  • Work together with the TEOA tool owners and metric owners to implement the different tools.
  • Lead some of the TEOA tools.
  • Train the organization's teams in TEOA and Continuous Improvement tools. For example : 5S, TPM, Value Stream Mapping, among others.
  • Detect and lead improvement and cost saving opportunities.
  • Reports periodically progress on TEOA assigned tools and metrics. Supervision :
  • None. Education and Experience :
  • Industrial Engineering Degree, desirable Lean Certified
  • Experience : 1-3 years of experience in Operational Excellence roles or alike (production supervisor, quality engineer, manufacturing or process engineer, planner, etc).
  • Language : Bilingual English / Spanish Qualifications :
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Goal oriented
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 & Teams, especially MS Excel proficient.
  • Knowledge in problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience in process improvement with lean tools and / or six sigma tools.
  • Awareness of medical quality system, specifically validation process and different types of qualifications. - Desirable
  • Programming, simulation and / or data analytics software (PowerBI) knowledge are desirable
  • Project Management awareness is desirable
