The Opportunity

Work from the Adobe World headquarters in San Jose, California, as one of the corporation’s Senior Global Security Risk Managers, within the Global Safety and Security (GSS) team being responsible for the Special Events program which involves internal and external events sponsored by Adobe Corporate Events and off-site Board of Director meetings, as well as coordinating the Company’s Executive Protection program.

The Sr. Manager further enables and supports vital policy development and implementation efforts for GSS and Employee Workplace Solutions leaders, partners, and peers, which promote employee security, business resilience, and client success.

By developing strong and encouraging partnerships, demonstrating subject matter expertise, and leading through example by modeling Adobe Capabilities Be Creative, Be Focused, and Be a Leader the successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, crafting, and influencing sophisticated security mitigation strategies that will enable the business and protect Adobe people, facilities, and information.

What you'll Do

  • Serve as the GSS senior manager leading all aspects of our Corporate-level Special Events program and coordinating our Executive Protection program.
  • Duties include but are not limited to collaborating and coordinating seamlessly with stakeholders; developing annual budget and resource requirements;
  • developing, reviewing, and operationalizing policies; leading vendors; and conducting peer benchmarking.

  • Leadership and support to other vital global security risk mitigation programs, such as crisis management, investigations, and insider threat / workplace violence prevention.
  • Provide GSS and EWS leadership with regular program and budget updates; identify and achieve multi-year achievements, goals, and objectives consistent with higher-level Corporate priorities.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to improve and enhance policies, programs, and processes.
  • Provide ad-hoc coverage as acting Regional Security Manager, as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Be available for Global travel.
  • What you need to succeed

  • At least seven years of professional security experience (mix of international federal government security / law enforcement and / or corporate security)
  • Experience in developing and implementing security strategies for large Corporate-level events, to include but not limited to planning, operations, logistics, vendor management, and budget oversight
  • Experience in coordinating executive protection programs including but not limited to operations, protective intelligence, logistics, and residential security
  • A strong, current network of associates in the corporate security field and the federal government law enforcement and intelligence community fields
  • Proven leadership roles in non-U.S. environments leading risk-based, life-safety programs experience to include operational and administrative environments
  • Ability to evaluate sophisticated issues, influence leaders, and build workable, pragmatic solutions; proven experience briefing and influencing senior leadership, optimally acquiring mutually beneficial solutions
  • Excellent English verbal and written communications
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a productive and trusted member of a distributed team
  • Bachelor’s degree required Multilingual skills preferred
