The Role :

As the Sr. Manager, Global Business Performance, you will help the Global Business Performance Team in delivering key reporting and insights to eBay CEO, CFO and leadership team.

You will collaborate with multiple cross division teams and use one of the world’s largest datasets in order to communicate a clear and summarized outlook of eBay’s performance.

You are responsible for creating and maintaining performance deep dives tools, report on performance weekly / monthly & quarterly with exposure to eBay finance leadership team.

We are looking for an individual with a strong motivation to continuously improve and challenge the status quo. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding analytical and communication skills, and an ability to simplify complex matters.

You’ll be reporting to the Director of Global Business Performance.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Business performance reporting (weekly / monthly quarterly)
  • Maintain and develop new deep dive tools that will help dissect performance quicker
  • Communicate business performance clearly, enabling the business to take actions in timely manner
  • Ad hoc analytics cross functional efforts
  • Model future eBay outlook using data science modeling
  • Lead multi-functional analytic effort with Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Customer Service, and Product teams to drive strategic analysis and provide recommendations for ad-hoc requests
  • Streamline processes and reporting, identify and execute automation that builds time-savings and reduces non-value-added work
  • Your Experience :

    7+ years’ of experience in a similar or relevant role Finance, management consulting, engineering or product management.

    Outstanding conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills.

    Ability to work with people at all levels and across varying functions.

    Ability to communicate sophisticated analysis in a precise and meaningful manner with both technical, and non-technical customers.

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.

    Academic background in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, engineering, statistics, economics, business).

    Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills.

    SQL and relational database knowledge preferred, but not required.
