The Challenge
Love to innovate while helping customers meet their online business goals? The Data & Insights Technical Consultant position is a client-facing role requiring both technical and business / marketing knowledge and skills! Technical Consultants build and develop Analytics solution to meet customer'
s business objectives and reporting needs. In addition, consultants help each customer implement the solution throughout their websites and applications, perform quality checks to ensure that the implementation work has been completed successfully, and diagnose and resolve technical issues when they arise.
While not a programming position, it is a very technical job with constant customer interaction and opportunities to innovate!
What you’ll do
Gain an in-depth knowledge of a client’s website architecture, online business model, and online marketing strategy
Support customer discovery sessions and help guide client's business requirements and key performance indicators
Design customized solutions and technical tag implementation strategies
Generate customized web analytic collection code and assist with its implementation and deployment
Support client’s developers and third parties throughout the implementation process
Validate and debug implementation and follow through on issues until resolved
Light manipulation of JavaScript as needed to customize web analytics solutions
Guide key partners and drive client success based on clients most significant business drivers and Adobe's standard methodology
Engage directly with customers via phone, email, and / or in-person through the project lifecycle. Including interaction with marketers, analysts, web developers, partners and executives
Lead multiple client engagements at a time, and establish expectations appropriately to keep projects on schedule and within scope
Become an authority in the use of Adobe products and the methods by which they can be used to efficiently optimize online businesses
Keep accurate daily and weekly records of client billable time
Some technical writing and presentation creation
Experience and skills to succeed
4 years’ experience working in web analytics or a related field
Previous experience working with Adobe Analytics or similar tools, tag management systems and data layers
Solid grasp of online marketing, HTML and web protocols
Intermediate-to-advanced JavaScript skills
Be results-oriented, responsive, professional and dedicated to customer success
Possess a creative and problem-solving mentality
Good interpersonal, presentation, and soft skills both verbal and written
Ability to learn quickly, be an excellent teammate, and handle change efficiently
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Up to 50% travel required
Special Consideration given for :
Experience with Adobe Launch
Website optimization consulting experience
Web development experience
Experience with Single Page Application (SPA)
Expertise with mobile and / or media analytics
Vertical industry experience
Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in Colorado.
Colorado Starting Salary : $116,800 - $151,700
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
